As a user of several social media platforms, I believe that one of the most pressing issues facing marginalized communities is the inherent bias within our society. Racism and discrimination have always been prevalent, but the rise of social media has brought these issues front and center. Marginalized communities, such as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities, face unique challenges when it comes to fighting against racism and discrimination.

This lack of representation perpetuates harmful stereotypes and limits the opportunities available to marginalized communities.
