Which organizations are leading the promotion of theater plays worldwide?

Well, there are quite a few organizations that are working towards promoting theater plays worldwide. Some of the most prominent ones include the International Theatre Institute (ITI), which is a non-profit organization that has been actively promoting the performing arts for over 70 years. They organize events, festivals, and conferences that showcase the best of theater from around the world.

Another organization that has been doing some great work in this area is Regional Theatre Young Director Scheme (RTYDS). They provide training and support to new and emerging theater directors, helping them to create innovative and engaging productions that can reach a wider audience.

Then there's the Shakespeare Globe Trust, which is dedicated to promoting the works of William Shakespeare and his contemporaries. They offer productions, workshops, and educational programs aimed at introducing people of all ages to the joys of theater. They also have a fantastic website that offers loads of information on Shakespeare's plays, as well as a range of resources for teachers.
