What is the ranking of the top recycling cities in the world?

Well, I don't know the exact ranking of the top recycling cities in the world, but I do know that there are definitely some cities out there that are really killing it when it comes to recycling.

For starters, I think it's important to note that a lot of cities have made great strides in recent years when it comes to recycling. People are more aware than ever of the importance of reducing waste and conserving resources, and many cities have responded to that by implementing more comprehensive recycling programs.

Some cities that come to mind when I think about recycling include San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland. I know that all three of these cities have really robust recycling programs that encourage people to recycle as much as possible and that provide a lot of resources and support to make it easy for people to do so.

San Francisco, for example, has a goal of becoming a zero waste city by 2020. That means that they're aiming to divert all of their waste away from landfills and towards recycling and composting. They've already made great strides towards that goal, with a recycling rate of around 80% (compared to a national average of around 34%).

Seattle is another city that's doing a really great job when it comes to recycling. They have one of the highest recycling rates in the country (around 56%) and they've made a lot of investments in their recycling infrastructure to make it easier for people to recycle. They also have a comprehensive composting program that diverts a lot of waste away from landfills.

Portland is another city that's known for its recycling efforts. They've set a goal of reaching a 75% recycling rate by 2025, and they've already made a lot of progress towards that goal. They also have a really comprehensive composting program that helps to keep food waste out of landfills.

Of course, there are many other cities out there that are doing great things when it comes to recycling. It's hard to say which one is the "best" because different cities have different goals and face different challenges. But I think it's really encouraging to see so many cities making recycling a priority and taking concrete steps to reduce waste and conserve resources.
