Do movie producers have more power than directors when it comes to making creative decisions?

So, while movie producers have a lot of power when it comes to deciding what kinds of movies get made, directors still have a lot of power when it comes to how the movie will look, feel, and be received by audiences.

In the end, it's a collaboration between both the movie producer and director that brings a movie to life. So, it's not really fair to say that one has more power than the other when it comes to making creative decisions. They both have important roles to play!
