Well, I'm definitely not a nutritionist, but as someone who has tried different diets and read a lot about food, I think that a diet that is too extreme in any way can be harmful. That being said, there are definitely benefits to reducing cholesterol levels in our diets, especially if we have high cholesterol or heart disease in our family history.

I think the key is finding a balance that works for us as individuals. It also depends on our overall health picture - if we have other health issues, we may need to adjust our diet in different ways.

One thing that's important to keep in mind is that cholesterol is only one piece of the puzzle when it comes to heart health. So even if we're doing everything "right" in terms of cholesterol, we still need to be mindful of these other factors.

In terms of finding that balance, I think it's important not to get too caught up in fad diets or extreme approaches. The best diet is one that we can stick to in the long-term, and that gives us all the nutrients our bodies need.
