Well, there are actually loads of new technologies and innovations being developed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the energy sector. These energy sources don't release greenhouse gases in the same way that traditional fossil fuels do, so they're a lot better for the environment.

Another thing that's being developed is carbon capture and storage. This is basically a way of capturing the carbon dioxide that's released when you burn fossil fuels, and then storing it somewhere so that it doesn't get released into the atmosphere. It's a pretty cool idea, but there are still a lot of questions about how practical it is and how much it would actually help.

There are also a bunch of new energy efficiency technologies being developed. These are things like smart thermostats, LED lighting, and energy-efficient appliances. By using these technologies, we can reduce the amount of energy we need to use in our homes and businesses, which means we don't need to generate as much power in the first place.
