Moreover, the widespread belief that Kabbalah is a form of ancient Jewish mysticism is far from reality. In reality, Kabbalah is a modern interpretation of Jewish teachings that has been commercialized to appeal to a larger audience. Many rabbis have even spoken out against Kabbalah, stating that it distorts and misrepresents the original teachings of Jewish mysticism.
