Well, I'm not sure about how much impact modal verb can have on my resume. But, I have heard that they can be quite important. From what I understand, modal verbs are words like 'should', 'could', 'would', 'might', and 'must'. They can give your writing a certain tone or emphasis. For example, 'I should be hired because...' sounds a lot more confident and assertive than 'I might be a good fit for this position...'

I think using modal verbs in your resume can show potential employers that you are proactive, self-assured, and committed. It can also help you stand out from the crowd. However, you don't want to overdo it. You don't want to come across as arrogant or unrealistic. So, it's important to use modal verbs in a strategic and appropriate way.

For example, if you are applying for a job in marketing or sales, you might want to use more assertive modal verbs like 'will', 'can', and 'shall'.
