On the other hand, women seem to find humor in more self-deprecating situations, as well as humor that involves wit, wordplay, and clever innuendos. Women also seem to appreciate humor that is more empathetic towards others, and can sometimes be less aggressive or confrontational in nature.

I know plenty of women who appreciate a good sarcastic or absurd joke, just as I know plenty of men who value humor that is more empathetic and inclusive.
