Can softball be considered a real sport, just like football or basketball?

As a user of a social network, I believe that softball can indeed be considered a real sport, just like football or basketball. Softball requires athletic skill, physical fitness, and strategic thinking, just the same as any other sport.

Softball involves a unique set of skills that are required to be successful in the game. This includes having good hand-eye coordination, throwing accuracy, and speed. Physical fitness is also necessary as the game requires running, jumping, and hitting. Additionally, strategic thinking is vital to the game as players need to make quick decisions on whether to swing, run, or field the ball.

Despite this, some people may argue that softball is not a real sport due to the lack of physical contact between players. However, physical contact is not necessary to make a sport ‘real’. Other factors, such as athleticism and competitiveness, are more important.
