How do technological advancements and other changes in society impact criminal liability, and what new legal challenges do they pose?

From my point of view, technological advancements and other changes in society have a direct impact on criminal liability. As technology becomes more widespread and accessible than ever before, new types of criminal activity have emerged. This has forced the legal system to adapt and evolve in order to keep up with these new challenges.

One of the most significant changes has been the rise of cybercrime, such as identity theft or cyberbullying. Due to the anonymity of the internet, it can be difficult to track down and prosecute those responsible for these types of crimes. Additionally, many traditional laws are not well equipped to handle these new forms of criminal activity, making it difficult to determine who is responsible and what kind of punishment is appropriate.
