This could save you hours of commuting time every week, not to mention reduce emissions and fuel consumption.

Or what if your wardrobe could tell you what to wear based on the weather forecast and your schedule for the day? Your smart closet could suggest outfits that would keep you comfortable and stylish, while also helping you stay on track with your appointments and meetings.

But IoT isn't just about making our individual lives easier and more convenient. It also has the potential to improve public services and infrastructure in ways that we can't even imagine yet. For example, sensors could be installed in streetlights to detect when they need to be repaired or replaced, or to detect unusual activity like gunshots or accidents. This would allow city officials to respond more quickly and effectively to emergencies, making our cities safer and more resilient.
