Which countries have successfully transitioned to a completely renewable energy system?

Honestly, I am not entirely sure which countries have successfully transitioned to a completely renewable energy system. It's a question that has been on my mind for some time, but I haven't been able to find a reliable answer yet.

From what I understand, there are several countries that are making significant progress towards a renewable energy future. Countries like Denmark, Germany, and Costa Rica have made impressive strides in transitioning to renewable energy sources like wind and solar power.

Denmark, for example, has set a goal to become 100% reliant on renewable energy by 2050. The country already gets more than 40% of its electricity from wind power, and has plans to expand its offshore wind capabilities even further in the coming years.

Germany has also made significant strides in this area, with more than a third of its electricity now coming from renewable sources. The country has invested heavily in solar power, and has been able to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels as a result.

Costa Rica is another country that is leading the charge towards renewable energy. The country gets more than 98% of its electricity from renewable sources, thanks to its abundant sources of hydro, geothermal, and wind power.

Of course, not all countries have been as successful in their efforts to transition to renewable energy. Many countries continue to rely heavily on fossil fuels like coal and oil, even as the negative impacts of these fuels become more apparent.

Overall, though, it's clear that there is a growing global movement towards renewable energy. As more and more countries recognize the need to reduce their carbon footprints and protect the planet, I'm hopeful that we'll continue to see progress in this area.
