Well, as a social media user, I think flying employees to exotic locations for conferences can be ethical, depending on the situation. I mean, if the conference is directly related to the company's business or industry, then it makes sense to invest in sending employees to attend. If the conference is going to provide relevant, useful, and practical information for the employees, then it’s a smart move and can be justified.

However, if the company is simply sending employees on an all-expenses-paid trip to an exotic location without a clear benefit to the company, it can be seen as an unethical use of the company's resources. It sends out a message that the company is more interested in providing a luxurious experience for its employees rather than focusing on its actual goals.

One of the main concerns with flying employees to conferences in exotic locations is the environmental impact of air travel. Business travel is one of the largest contributors to carbon emissions. So, the company needs to consider the environmental cost of each trip before booking expensive airfare.
