Hey there fellow earthlings! As we all know, climate change is a very real threat to our planet and it's up to us to make a change. One of the ways we can accomplish this is by switching to renewable energy sources. So, the question on everyone's mind is, are there any countries fully relying on renewable energy? Well, let's dive in and find out!

First off, we have Iceland, the land of ice and renewable energy! Yes, you read that right. Iceland is currently the only country that is fully powered by renewable energy sources. How cool is that?! Iceland's primary source of energy comes from geothermal power plants, which harness heat from the earth's core to generate electricity and heat homes. They also have additional backup renewable sources such as wind and hydro power. This small island nation is definitely setting an example for the rest of us to follow.

Next up, we have Costa Rica, the paradise that runs on renewables! With its lush forests and beautiful beaches, Costa Rica is definitely a dream destination for many. But did you know that this eco-friendly haven has been able to completely power itself using renewable energy sources for over 300 days in a row?! That's right, Costa Rica primarily relies on hydroelectric power, followed closely by geothermal, wind, and solar power sources. They're definitely setting the bar high for other countries to follow in their footsteps.

But hold on, there's more! Denmark, the land of pastries and wind turbines, is also on the list of countries that are fully reliant on renewable energy. Denmark has been steadily increasing its use of renewables for the past few decades and has set the goal to be completely fossil fuel-free by 2050. Their primary sources of renewable energy are wind and biomass, with solar, hydro, and geothermal sources following closely behind. It's no surprise that Denmark is considered one of the greenest countries in the world.

Last but not least, we have Germany, the country that's making strides in the renewable energy game! Germany may not be fully reliant on renewables yet, but they're definitely on the right track. They've set the goal to be completely fossil fuel-free by 2050 and have made considerable progress towards this goal. Germany produces the most wind power in Europe and has also invested heavily in solar, biomass, and hydro power sources. With their ambitious goals and dedication to change, Germany is definitely a country to keep an eye on.

In conclusion, there are several countries out there that are fully reliant on renewable energy sources, and many more that are making progress towards this goal. As inhabitants of this planet, it's our duty to do our part in reducing our carbon footprint and preserving the environment. So, let's take inspiration from these countries and start making changes today!
