What are some creative ways to keep conference call meetings engaging and productive for business travel and corporate events?

As a regular conference call attendee, I have some ideas on how to spice up these meetings and make them more engaging and productive for business travel and corporate events.

The first thing is to break the monotony of the usual conference setup. I suggest trying out new video conferencing software that allows customization of backgrounds, adding emojis and stickers, and reacting to each other's comments. This way, everyone participating in the conference call has the opportunity to express themselves creatively and emotively, which is a great way to create a more engaging atmosphere.

Another idea is to establish a clear agenda for the meeting and stick to it. This helps to keep everyone aligned and focused on the objectives of the conference call. Encourage participants to come up with questions or issues that they want to discuss beforehand to avoid going off-topic during the meeting. By doing so, meetings can be made more efficient and effective, which will translate to increased productivity.

Additionally, participants can be encouraged to make use of chat features during the meeting to share feedback, pose questions, or clarify points. Participants should also be given opportunities to speak and contribute their ideas, even if it means taking turns. The meeting facilitator or host should ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to speak and no one is dominating the conversation.

Lastly, I would advise participants to take breaks between the calls. Meetups during breaks can create opportunities for networking, brainstorming new ideas and connecting with colleagues remotely.
