The COVID-19 pandemic has affected child poverty rates around the world in a very bad way. Many families have lost their jobs or businesses, and they don't have enough money to buy enough food or pay for their children's school fees or even get medical care sometimes. This has made it really hard for children to have enough food to eat or access to healthcare, and many of them have had to stop going to school. This is really bad news because education is very important for a child's future.

There are a few things that can be done to help reduce the impact of COVID-19 on child poverty rates. One of these things is to provide food and other basic needs to families who are struggling during the pandemic. Governments and aid organizations can work together to help provide these things to families who need them the most. Another thing that can be done is to help parents find new jobs or start their own businesses, so they can earn money to provide for their families again. And finally, we can also help support a child's education by making sure they have access to online learning tools or by making sure they can safely go back to school once it's safe to do so.

So, in short, COVID-19 has made it harder for families to provide for their children, and this has had a negative impact on child poverty rates around the world.
