How has the pandemic affected the typical day of a road warrior?

Well, let me tell you, the pandemic has certainly thrown a wrench in the typical day of a road warrior! For those of us who were used to spending most of our time traveling from city to city, hopping on and off of planes, and living out of a suitcase, things have definitely changed.

One of the biggest adjustments has been the lack of face-to-face meetings. With many companies transitioning to remote work, there are fewer opportunities to sit down with clients and colleagues in person. Instead, we've had to get used to video conferencing and virtual presentations. While it's not quite the same, it has actually turned out to be a surprisingly effective way of getting work done.

Another major change has been the downtime. Before, days were packed with meetings, flights, and hotel stays. But now that most travel has been put on hold, there's a lot more time to focus on other things. I've personally used this time to pick up some new hobbies, like learning to play guitar and trying my hand at cooking. Who knows, maybe I'll come out of this pandemic as a rock star chef!

Of course, not all changes have been positive. The lack of travel means we've also lost out on the excitement and adventure of visiting new places and meeting new people. I definitely miss the adrenaline rush of arriving in a new city and exploring all it has to offer. But hey, at least I've gotten to know my own hometown a lot better!

Overall, it's been a weird and wild ride, but we road warriors are nothing if not adaptable. Who knows what the future holds, but I'm excited to see what new opportunities and challenges come our way. Maybe we'll have to start wearing our full travel gear just to walk down the street, or maybe we'll get to travel to space instead of just different countries. Either way, I'm ready for the ride!
