Which country was hit the hardest during the Great Schism in Middle Ages and Feudalism?

During the Middle Ages and Feudalism, there was a big fight over who should be in charge of the Christian church. This was called the Great Schism and it happened around the year 1054.

The fight was between the churches in the east, which were in what is now Greece, Turkey and Russia, and the church in the west, which was in Rome. The main argument was over who had the power to make decisions for the whole church.

The country that was hit the hardest during the Great Schism was actually the whole Christian world. The fight caused a split in the church and this lasted for many years.

In the end, there were two separate churches - the Eastern Orthodox Church, which is still in many countries today, and the Roman Catholic Church, which is also found all around the world.

The split caused a lot of problems for people who wanted to worship in the church. Some people even fought wars over which church was the right one.

But in the end, both churches were important in their own way and had their own followers. We should all remember that even though people may have different beliefs, we should respect each other and work together for peace.
