Who are the most influential UX/UI designers in the industry?

Hmm, that's a tough one! There are so many talented UX/UI designers out there, it's hard to narrow it down to just a few.

One person who immediately comes to mind is Irene Au. She's worked for companies like Google and Yahoo, and is known for her innovative approaches to design. She's also really passionate about making technology more user-friendly, which I think is so important.

Another designer who I've been following for a while is Jared Spool. He's the founder of UIE (User Interface Engineering), and has been working in the field for over 30 years. He's got such a wealth of knowledge and insights, and is always sharing new research and ideas on his blog and through conferences.

And of course, I can't forget about Julie Zhuo. She's the VP of Design at Facebook, and has been leading the design team there for years. She's a great role model for aspiring designers, and has written a really helpful book called "The Making of a Manager" that I highly recommend.

There are so many other designers that I admire too - like Don Norman, who literally wrote the book on user-centered design, or Sarah Doody, who's a fantastic teacher and mentor in the industry. And I'm constantly discovering new designers through blogs, Twitter, and podcasts.

At the end of the day, I think it's important to recognize that design is a collaborative field, and there's no one person or company that's single-handedly driving innovation. It's a community effort, and I'm grateful to be a part of it.
