Yeah, so I've actually been on a Segway tour before and I gotta say, it was a pretty fun experience. Whether or not it's actually worth it depends on what you're looking for out of your tourist activities.
For one thing, riding a Segway is just cool. I mean, come on. It's like zipping around on a futuristic scooter. It's a unique and memorable way to see a city, and definitely beats walking around all day (especially if you're tired or have mobility issues).
But there are some downsides to Segway tours too. For one thing, they can be pretty pricey. I mean, you're essentially paying for a novelty experience, so you have to decide if it's worth the cost. And because you're with a group, you don't have complete control over where you go or how long you stay at each stop - it's all determined by the tour guide.
That being said, the guides themselves can really make or break the experience. The one I had was super knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor, which made the tour a lot more fun. But I can imagine that with a less entertaining guide, the tour could get pretty dull pretty quickly.
So in the end, I'd say that Segway tours can definitely be worth it, but it really depends on your priorities as a tourist. If you're looking for something fun and unique, and don't mind spending a bit of extra cash, then it's definitely worth a shot. But if you'd rather save money and have more control over your itinerary, then you might want to pass. It's all up to you!
